We know that the term “Craft Gin” has become a branding term robbed of all meaning, but we mean it in the old fashioned sense; our gin is made in small batches, with every bottle handled individually by the brand’s founder and director.
Our bottles may look spectacular, but they are as much handicrafts as they are top-shelf bar staples. Each bottle is hand-sealed, dipped in melted wax by Jenny herself - black for London Dry, gold for Aranami. The characteristic labels are based on original artist-drawn designs, with each label, again, stuck on carefully by hand. The distillation batch number is even written in pen on the reverse.
The bottle’s distinctive square, medicine bottle shape is produced in heavy glass, making it eminently suitable for a range of craft projects after you’ve (tragically) finished drinking your last drop. If you want something different for your interior design project, or need a perfect gift for a gin lover, here are some beautiful ideas to get you started.
Lighting
They say that it’s the lighting that makes the room, and we’re inclined to agree! For many years we have been passionate haters of the “big” light, using it only when utility absolutely demands it. To solve this eternal problem, there are plenty of things you can do with your gin bottle to turn it into the perfect libation illumination.

A genius and unbelievably simple use of LED fairy lights from @cocktailgineration makes a moody and atmospheric light installation for cocktail hour.

Try different colour lights for different effects - the purple label works beautifully with white or amber lights, or lean seasonal with a multi-coloured display.

The sturdy build of the bottle makes it an ideal base for a lamp, emphasising the crystal sheen of the glass edges. A simple dark lampshade makes a perfect match.

@ianskelton1977 goes one further here, using the bottle as the lamp itself. Note how the light refracts into the corners and makes for a totally singular effect, like sunlight on a glacier.
Ornamental Use
While we believe the bottles are quite pretty enough to display on their own merit, they’re also perfect as part of any decorative piece you can envisage. Whatever use your imagination can conjure, there are so many ways to make them look good on your shelves.

A welding project, using the copper tones on our label to great effect with copper piping.

Displayed at home, as part of a range of artefacts from Japan.

Christmas Decorations & Gifting
What good is a craft project if it can’t be shared? Our bottles can form part of the perfect gift, bringing costs down and thoughtfulness up.

We couldn’t let this section pass without talking about our beautiful Gin Baubles. With a 50ml miniature of Hidden Curiosities London Dry gin inside, they’re the perfect Christmas gift for a gin lover. They look beautiful all the way up until Christmas Day, by which time you’re surely ready to enjoy your gift!
They're only available seasonally and in strictly limited quantities, so act fast if you want one in time for Christmas.

Of course, almost nothing makes a better gift than a bottle of our gin. Our multi-award winning Aranami Navy Strength gin will only be available for a little while longer, so if you’re a fan of its unique sherbety, fragrant finish, we recommend you order now if you'd like some.
Sustainable, beautiful and fun, we can think of many ways to reuse our bottles after the gin stops flowing.
If you would rather refill your bottle with Hidden Curiosities gin, we of course sell Gin Refill Pouches, saving money and weight on your next round of cocktails.
